Vicky Maxwell Davies

Vicky has spent her whole career working in technology: for 10 years at IBM both in the UK and Paris, then with Oracle, selling into the City of London. She was almost always the only female in her team. She transitioned her career to Search in the mid 90s, at the time she was bringing up her young family, working with boards and excos of a wide variety of organisations to help find them technology leaders to further their business objectives. Having been one of the founding partners of Savannah Group, she helped build the company to what it is today, always with a focus on creating a diverse workforce which is critical to any business success.

Having recently retired from the front line, Vicky remains passionate about delivering gender diversity into the technology and digital functions. She is focused on identifying, nurturing and developing female talent, working with female leaders and high potentials to ensure a proper representation of women at the top levels of technology leadership. She is most proud of the CIO mentoring scheme, run in conjunction with CIO Development.com

Vicky was educated at the North London Collegiate School, University of Sussex and the Sorbonne and has a degree in French Studies. She remains is a keen cyclist and reader – although not at the same time.
