Richard Davies has been passionate about IT for 35 years. When he was 14 he passed his O’Level in Computing Science using Punch Cards at the local University. He qualified in Electronic Engineering and subsequently progressed from being a BASIC programmer in an MoD Engineering Sub-Contractor to an ERP Programme Director at PWC. After 15 yrs in consulting he moved into the Corporate Environment to lead transformation programmes for IT and Shared Services in the Banking and Logistics Sectors. At DeutschePost-DHL he has fulfilled Business Unit and Regional CIO roles and is now the Global CIO for Shared Services and the Corporate Centre.
